Rogue
(alien) Lux
Rogue works as an alien black-market dealer, usually of foreign goods and illegal weapons or drugs; being particularly well known for obtaining and selling living creatures/sentient and the like.
He scours deep space on occasion, as well as planets in and outside of Nasgu’e territories; searching for prizes he's hired for jobs or simply doing so to bring in a buck or two on his own time, eventually selling in the undercity markets found around the galaxy. (See: The Twins’ Extra Info section for more on the Nasgu’e lore. Perhaps the Handler too, if you’re so keen.)
His particular species, The Lux, has no eyes except for two hollow spirals that take up most of his face. The spirals are constantly spinning with his flesh.
Rogue is not a very violent man, but can be rough when aggravated. Though, he has had his fair share of death and destruction, much to the aggrievement of the Nasgu’e authorities. He is however, not one to make murder his first, second or even third option as it always leaves him feeling a sense of regret at losing a potential sale or happy future customer (perhaps some of that ol’ ‘No Kill = Death Bad.’ Nasgu’e propaganda has weaselled its way into his subconscious?).
Much sooner will Rogue have your arms and legs amputated, leaving you a bloody stump on a hospital's doorstep, would he simply just kill you. Though, that is not to say he hasn't had to put down a few people in his past for various reasons, he is simply less likely to with all the other fun options and connections he has at his disposal. However, should you asked him for a list of hitmen for hire, he will gladly write you an extensive list of his favourites. Murder is just merely not his typical scene.
And unlike many in his line of work Rogue is much more likely to forgive for any misgivings done against him. This isn’t to say that he’ll forget what you’ve done to him, only that he’s willing to look past it should an attempt to reconcile be made before he’s had a chance to deal out suitable punishment. So just make sure you keep in contact with him if you’ve suspected you’ve wronged him. Make sure to communicate, folks! Communication is Key.~
While all of this sounds like Rogue is some sort of big underground mafia leader that people won’t want to cross, the truth is he’s not. He’s merely your typical snatch and grab, transport suspicious stuff to and fro suspicious places, and or sell some illicit drugs/weapons on the down low, kind of guy. Rogue does have people that follow and work for him, yes. Yes, there are many that are loyal to him and his business, helping his endeavours run smoothly throughout the galaxy; but among the big honchos of the galaxy, he’s just one guy. One little old guy in vast sea of bigger, mightier guys.
Rogue knows he’s rather well liked and regarded as a capable and resourceful neutral party among the various opposing gangs/mafias and powerful families of the galaxy, one’s that he is happy to call his regulars or even friends for many years; and he knows if the need ever arises, have them all come to his aid, ready to reign fire and death, should he call for it.
He’s just a little guy, really. Not a threat; a friend :).

Backstory/info:
"You can call me Rogue."
It's not his real name, but even he doesn't remember his real name. (It was a personal Lux ID: #R06744U3, in his hometongue) but he long ago called himself Rogue, for whatever reason, and that's simply what he goes by now.
He knows very little of his mother tongue and can only speak a few words of it technically, having never grown up on his actual Homeworld. The nasgue having long since conquered his species before he was ever born. He grew up in the slums of one of the nasgue' shadier planet networks.
Tending to work on odd jobs from a young age, although he DID attend a school (and was rather good at Science and technetics for that matter); however, his young heart drew him an innocent interest in navigational work, where eventually led him to the business of illicit cargo, location, receival and distribution.
Part of the sciences he learned, particularly in his homeclass (it's basically the class that teaches each child about their own species and culture, that the nasgue 'saved'. So as to not lose touch with their homeland routes should they wish to visit one day.)
Rogue is apparently able to harvest powers from his home world, bestowed by the Gods of the world, however he uses it to bestow fear into those he deals with on his journey.
Rogue rather curses himself for not paying more attention in this class, as he didn't care at the time and is now only able to harness three of the 30 or 40 different types of powers that apparently exist to his kind. It might be too late in life to be able to utilise these features in his own body, but he does make good use of the ones he is capable of using in the black market buisness.
These days he tends to do the actual catch and grab himself, or partakes in grand thieving heists, he has had experience buying and selling to the highest bidders in his younger years and is an excellent salesman and negotiator for that reason. He has a vast network of people he's hired to help him do his jobs more smoothly, but at the end of the day, Rogue likes to get his hands dirty and do the deed of catch and grab/thievery, himself. He won't deny the thrill it gives him to be in the thicket of an organization he helped build from the ground up.
The world he hails from does not have eyes. Although he can see quite well, actually. He didn't care to listen in on biology class so he doesn't exactly know how he sees if you were to ask him, but he does. And that's that.
In the place of eyes are large, deep, dark and hollow sockets, where the flesh looks as if it's in constant spiralling motion. The eyes take up a good portion of his face.
If you stare into them too long they will pull you in and slightly hypnotise you, or rather, give you a long pause of drawn out horror. Unsure which it is, but people tend to stop and stare if they see his face, so he figures there's got to be a hypnotic effect to some degree. (Or he's just that handsome.)
Much like the nasgue, Rogue's species, the "Lux", are long standing world conquers themselves; that is, until their planet(s) lost their war against the nasgue (as all tend to do).
Due to this, many of the species under the nasgue empire have had a run in or were previously ruled over by the Lux at one point, and as such many do not take kindly to a Lux around. Though, this be through mere appearance fear, the species' bad rep, or personal generational grievances of past wrongdoings, Rogue is unsure; only that he's had to deal with some seriously shitty behaviour towards him and he likes to think he's a decent guy, when he wants to be.
Rogue didn't technically choose the criminal/black market dealer life, more rather it was bestowed upon him due to the prejudices against his people. However, he figures he might have ended up here eventually, as he discovered at a young age that he has a natural affinity to the business.
His species are not naturally a long living species, by typical standards; only living up to around 50, with 80 being a long stretch and any natural 100 reaching a mere lucky few.
While the Lux do age rapidly (reaching adolescence at 5 and adulthood at 10), a perk of joining the Nasgu’e empire has lead to the Lux (and many other short living species), capable of living much longer lives due to the technological advantages of the empire; and thus, upon their natural lives ending, having the consciousness transferred into a new body and started all over again. That being said, folks like Rogue have had their implants removed that alert the Nasgu’e authorities of their death, as it also doubles as a tracker. Trackers won’t do in Rogue’s line of work. So, should he die of natural or unnatural means, that’s likely it for him. He’s come to peace with that. He doesn’t fear death like the Nasgu’e tells everyone to do.
Rogue himself is around 70, give or take a few years, and is not against body modification and cyborgism to extend his life a little bit further, especially to "…the sake of ruining the fun for everyone else." (Or so he likes to put it, with a shit eating grin on his crooked toothed face)
The man has taken to living longer, simply out of spite towards those that hate the Lux and his kin. Also he's rather enjoying it here and will go when he's good and ready…
