The Realm Destroyer
Angel (R.D. Unit)
The Realm Destroyer is an angelic creation and their numbers are vast.
A cruel design, but one of necessity. Considered to be a last resort to send to a life realm that has been entirely plagued by demons.
The realm destroyers, otherwise named R.D. Units are sent to the inflicted realm to restart all life, annihilating every creature/human/plant life in sight. Flattening the realm in order for it to begin a new, free of the demon scourge that had overcome it.
There are warning signs of the R.D's approach, however. Not that you can do anything about it, even if you do notice the signs.
Before the Angels send R.D.s to an infected realm, they send down a different unit of angels, ones that will liberate the water, other life forms of interest, and search for potential unique living souls of that realm before they completely destroy the planet in its entirety.
They wont simply take a living soul to heaven if they do find one powerful and suitable for their society, they will give the living soul a choice, whether they want to live their final life on this dying realm and experience it's destruction first hand, or if they will forfeit their life then and there (the angels will then kill that person), and the soul will then enter purgatory (where all souls go after they die in a life realm), where the Angelic Purifiers (basically a torture demon Angel) await them with open arms, ready to purify and turn them into upstanding angel citizens of Heaven for eternity.
Water is coveted in Heaven, and is also in vast supply that the cities and angelic populace take for granted and many live in complete ignorance to HOW exactly they acquire the water, and where it even comes from. The angel's portal gates are fully functional and well regulated (while the portal gates in Hell have been completely used and abused beyond repair and no longer work (thanks fire lords...) )
So long story short, if you notice a lot of water disappearing and your best buddy is found mysteriously dead in his house somewhere, you might want to flee the realm if you can, because doom approaches.
Some things to note about their design
- they are sort of like cyborgs giant skyscraper sized cyborgs of angel and fused machinery (As of writing this, I still don't have a clear design and only a vague concept. so if there's references, they are probably entirely incorrect in some way)
- they are merciless. they do not feel any emotion and will carry out their job until it is done, no matter what.
- A realm can take from a week to 6 months to be completely destroyed (depending on the size of the realm and if there is no resistance).
- it is said that when the portal gates of Hell were still in use, Heaven and Hell had gone to war, fighting over dominance of each other's realms (the Fire Lords probably started this war initially, but no one is quite sure at this point). The Angels designed and used the realm destroyer to desolate the realm of Hell, annihilating everything they could, including Hell's portal gates. This could be why the Hell of today is such a barren wasteland in many parts of the world and part of the reason why the portal gates no longer function correctly.
- heaven society is much more advanced in terms of technology than Hell is, however it is really only because they have procured such technology from various life realms, using it to fuel their own world. At Heaven's base core, it is very much similar to Hell. At the end of the day, without the stolen technology and water that brings life to their realm of death, Heaven is as dark as Hell.
- The way it treats its citizens however, is very controlling, while Hell is fairly lawless (outside of a Fire Lord's castle, anyway). Heaven society will designate what you do with your eternal existence and assigns everyone a job/purpose/location, regardless of your soul strength (however angels are very picky. they will only choose the fanciest/strongest of souls to turn into angels anyway). So long as you do good to others, do your job that is expected of you, you will be treated well and exist in happiness. Just follow the rules.
Hell on the other hand will let you do whatever the fuck you want and the world is open to travel as far as you wish... to some degree- for if your eternal soul is on the weaker side, you will be abused and exploited by those stronger than you. Hell can be a land of pleasure and thrills, but for many, it is quite literally, Hell.
