A. Realms — Definition and Types
Realms are like ships out at sea. The sea is Purgatory. When you die, you fall into Purgatory and await the next ship to pass by — aka: Reincarnation.

These souls are thought to be unbreakable — no matter the pressure applied, they will never die the second death.

Magic Systems
A. General Rules and Properties

Inner Magics

Passive / Outer Magics

C. Summoning

Calling — Special Summoning Type

E. Enchantments
Willful Enchantment Powers
- Activated or deactivated at will
- Conscious control at any given time
- Strength level can be increased or reduced by will
Unwillful Enchantment Powers
- Always-on ability — completely involuntary
- Cannot be turned off, ever
- Always at a set power level
Charm Enchantment

Passive Enchantment

Amplification Enchantment
Extremely Rare: Possibly unique. This enchantment has only been documented once in a single individual throughout recorded history.
Healing Enchantment

- Trick the body into believing it has been healed (temporary)
- Pain reduction — upon release, pain returns amplified
- Sleep induction — mind and body rendered unconscious
Vocal Enchantments
Silver Tongue (Extremely Rare): Words themselves have inherent power. Documented in only one individual throughout all recorded history.
Death Memories Extraction
This enchantment allows extraction of memories from all past lives and incarnations. Documented in only one individual in all of recorded history.
F. Purification
Angels Only. Rare and extremely difficult to harness. Only ever seen demonstrated by Angels. Used to create more of their kind.

G. Magic Compatibility

Angels and Demons
A. Nature and Origins
Angels and Demons are the same things: dead souls living in a Death Realm.

B. Torture Demons
Torture demons are not necessarily evil. They are creatures that teach and create the final permanent form of a single soul. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Cras id dui. Aenean ut eros et nisl sagittis vestibulum.
C. Fire Lords and Grieve
Garanzo
Domain: South (Garanzo). Orange fire. Most violent of the brothers.
Zazoro
Domain: North (Zazoro). Blue fire. Cold yet searing. Values beauty.
Phayne
Domain: West (Phayne). Purple / chemical fire. Emits steam constantly.
Zathura
Domain: East (Zathura). Red molten liquid fire. Status: Sealed.
D. Angel Creation
For an angel to be made, a soul must already be varying degrees of corrupt in order to become pure enough to be turned into an Angel. Praesent dapibus, neque id cursus faucibus, tortor neque egestas augue, eu vulputate magna eros eu erat.
E. Demon vs Angel Love
Demon Love

Angel Love
Protective. Ensure the survival and success of the loved one, independent of themselves. Donec aliquet, tortor sed accumsan bibendum.
Death Realms — Heaven and Hell
A. Physical Properties of Death Realms
Structure
A single planet floating atop Purgatory's waters. Immensely vast. Both realms are flat worlds surrounded by The Fade or The Wall.
Celestial Bodies
Two suns orbit the planet at different speeds, creating varying degrees of heat. Two moons also present in both realms.
Sky & Atmosphere
A vast array of colours depending on location. Slightly translucent, revealing the dark shimmer of Purgatory's waters beyond.
B. Realm Convergence
Occasionally — a very rare occurrence — when a Life Realm or the opposite Death Realm passes closely by the planet, the sky will reveal vague and translucent views of that realm's space.
Close Convergence: At a 1% probability rate, the two realms will fully converge. Anyone caught in the current will be thrown between realms as if through water and air. Extremely hectic; may destroy the soul.
C. The Old War
There was a great war between Heaven and Hell when one of these convergences happened long ago. Each realm wished to gain control of the other. D. Water in Death Realms
Water is only available by retrieving it from a Life Realm. In Heaven or Hell, water is the most precious substance of all — practically nonexistent and highly coveted, particularly by Angels.
E. Red Draught
Also known as Mage's Liquor, Soul Tonic, or simply Red. A substance that exists within the dead realms — more common in Hell than Heaven. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
In small doses it is unharmful and can quench thirst in extreme dry climates, granting a boost of energy and magic where there may be none left.
Hell — The Death Realm
A. Hell's Calendar System
B. Blink Days in Hell
Half Blink
One moon missing. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Demons feel moderately drained.
Full Blink
Both moons missing. Demons magically exhausted and highly irritable. Common practice is to eat, rest, and avoid all enemies.
C. Hell's Social Hierarchy
The kings of Hell. Only four exist. All other demons are their underlings and must serve without question.
Strong-powered demons with immense aura. Given full respect and a wide berth by lower-class demons. Govern gangs and own territories.
Average folk demons. Neither weak nor strong. Survival of the fittest governs their station within the realm.
Demons freshly created and released into Hell by a torture demon. Considered easy prey — they learn quickly to stay silent about their status.
D. a'Naskii and a'Naskaa
Translates roughly to "beloved slave / object of affection / obsession." A cherished minion — an obsession-like bond between demon and subject. Highly protected or horribly abused, depending on owner.
The demon who owns an a'Naskii. You become an a'Naskaa when you hold an a'Naskii. One is usually preferred — it is essentially an obsession that consumes the one who keeps it.
E. Special Locations in Hell
Zathura's Domain
The sector of Hell under Zathura's control. In recent years, Zathura has not been seen. His castle is sealed. Many lawless demons seek this domain as refuge from pursuers or in search of freedom.
The Fade
A white mist that shrouds the borders of Hell. No one goes in — for no one ever comes out. All but the Fire Lords, however. Behind the fade lies the ruins of an ancient city where a lone red door stands tightly shut.
The Wastes
Desolate areas in Hell. Beast demons and feral monsters live here. Roads are sealed with magic deterrents against beasts — though these do not work on all of them.
Heaven — The Death Realm
A. Heaven's Calendar System
The two suns are referred to as Azious and Gabrious (Azi and Gabe). Unlike Hell, the Angels have combated the sweltering heat using a Water Magic system — a mixture of advanced science and magic using water borrowed from Life Realms.
B. Blink Days in Heaven
Cultural Response: Unlike Hell, Blink Days are commonly looked forward to in Heaven. Festivals and feasts take place. No work is expected. Any ill-spoken words or actions on these days are easily forgiven by the community.
C. Heaven's Social Hierarchy
Everything runs up to them. Believed to be seven, though far fewer exist in reality.
The most powerful, and the most restricted. Extremely rare. Work solely in citadels, rarely seen by the general population.
Two Seekers accompany a Purifier when entering Purgatory. Essentially Purifier bodyguards without the purification power.
Locate and extract unique living souls from within Life Realms. Follow a targeted soul until its natural death, then snatch it before it can reach Purgatory.
Each Illume is assigned to Essence and assists them with their needs. May manage up to 10 Essence at one time.
Like a Newling in Hell. May remain an Essence their entire existence without moving up in the chain.
Portal Gates
Massive doorways located in both Death Realms — Heaven and Hell — that lead to various Realms of Life, as well as to each other.

Portal Stones
Rare magical objects — one-time use per stone. One of the most sought-after items in Hell. Practically unobtainable in the modern era.
To create a Portal Stone requires at least one Lifer soul — which is broken upon creation. A skilled builder and significant magic are required. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Donec aliquet, tortor sed accumsan bibendum.
Pocket Realms
A. Definition and Nature
If a full Realm is considered a continent out at sea, then Pocket Realms are the ships that sail the waters of Purgatory — occasionally docking at a full Realm, allowing passage back and forth at will.
B. How They Function
Pocket Realms can detach from the host realm and reattach upon encountering another. Once detached, a Pocket Realm drifts through Purgatory much like a regular realm does. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor.
C. How Pocket Realms Are Formed
When Heaven and Hell were at war, Heaven designed a machine that would flatten a realm to the ground. During these catastrophic events, small pieces of the Life Realm were chipped away — breaking off the mother realm and floating into the waters of Purgatory forever, thus becoming Pocket Realms.
Demons in Life Realms
A. Life Realm Demons (Lifer Demons)

B. HellSpawn Demons
Straight out of Hell. Their soul is raw power, unencumbered by the weight of life. A HellSpawn in a Life Realm will not age or die as a naturally born creature would. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
Rule of thumb: if a demon is close to, or older than 1,000,000,000 — it is a damn old demon and should not be messed with under any circumstances.
C. Death of a HellSpawn in a Life Realm
If a HellSpawn is killed while outside of a Death Realm, their physical body will begin disintegrating into particles — soul energy being pulled back through a portal gate in the Hell Realm. They emerge through one of the gates in Hell to face a very angry Fire Demon. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.
D. Auras
An invisible force around a demon that holds a considerable amount of strength and magic. Those trained in the art can see an aura, which reveals how powerful or dangerous a demon may be. Even untrained individuals will feel the heavy, draining effects of a powerful aura simply by standing in its presence.
The Fae
A. Nature and Definition
The Fae do not typically like being called Fairies. It is considered name-calling. They take offense and it is an easy way to earn their ill will.

B. Individual Fae vs Swarms
Individual Fae
Relatively harmless. Can be captured and consumed for an intense magical boost lasting a few days, depending on the Fae's magic quantities.
Fae Swarm
Produces magic far more powerful than that of the average demon or human. Even a HellSpawn would struggle greatly against an angered swarm.
C. Behavior and Interaction
Best Practices When Encountering a Fae Swarm
Run as fast and as far as one can. Should this not be an option: absolute care must be taken not to insult or aggravate them. Groveling, begging, and flattery is a viable and heavily encouraged option in such scenarios.
D. Familiars
Each high-standing Fae will be tasked with finding a Familiar to "come of age." The magic of the Fae must be compatible with the magic of the chosen Familiar for the bond to work. Familiars can be any creature — animal, demon, human, or angel. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
E. Fae Queens and Breeding
The Queen Fae of a swarm is the one who births new Fae. She experiences heat cycles every few dozen years. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Donec euismod, ligula vitae commodo semper.
F. Fae Reproduction Mechanics
A queen of Fae does not need to mate with a prince Fae or even a male Fae. Female Fae can switch gender in order to breed with the queen. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt.
G. Rare Occurrences
Extremely Rare: There is an approximately 0.00001% chance that a regular female Fae citizen could produce an actual queen egg — even without being the swarm's queen.
Life Realm — Edin and Surrounding Lands
A. General Structure
The world consists of few large continents and multiple islands. One of the main powerhouses is the Island of Edin — smaller than many continents, but one of the most powerful in terms of financial stability, people, technology, and kingdom strength.
B. Kingdom of Ashra
Ashra
Located on the Island of Edin near the waterfronts. The people go by Ashrans. Main domain of the demon slayer clans. Often referred to as the land of ash and sea. Existed for close to 700 years.
C. Kingdom of Wulfe
Wulfe
Closer inland, surrounded by hills and mountain forests. Residents are called Wulfies or Wulfans. Governed by Alluh, Queen of Hunters.
D. Kingdom of Naytron (Norme)
Naytron / Norme
The people are called Naytrians. Main city is G'erstle. Founded by mainland settlers who wished not to deal with Hunters and Slayers. Roughly 650 years old.
E. City of Gamadal
A city that was taken over by Malka with his enchantment, and ultimately destroyed after the Hunters came to claim him. For a while, the city walls sat in empty silence — a ghostly reminder of the powers unchecked demons can hold. Now it has begun to see life again.
F. Kingdom of Heftle (Greed)
Heftle
Originally the motherland of Slayers, now governed by Hunters. Contains cities with the largest populations and wealth. The location most frequented by HellSpawn emerging from other realms.
G. Kingdom of a'Rundaur (Wrath)
a'Rundaur
The largest extension of the Slayer kingdom apart from Edin. Known to be more bloodthirsty than their Edin counterparts — even the people of Ashra find them quite extreme.
H. The Bandit City — ColdOak
ColdOak / The Camp
A secret city on the mainland, nestled on the mountainous border between the Hunter and Slayer kingdoms. Hugged closely by thick forest and built into a mountain by the sea. An outlaw center for pirates and bandits of all kinds.
I. Pirate Island — Isle of Nomads
Isle of Nomads
A safe zone where no killing is allowed. Humans and demons live amongst each other. Far off the mainland and nowhere near Edin. Generally untouched by Slayers and Hunters.
